A Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) has been prepared by the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) to assess the environmental effects of taking 223± acres into Federal trust for the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin (Tribe). The BIA is the Federal Agency charged with reviewing and approving tribal applications pursuant to 25 CFR 151 to take land into Federal trust status. The Tribe proposes to construct a casino and hotel on the property. The property is the current site of the Dairyland Greyhound Park, in Kenosha, WI.
